Kettle Moraine Geological Society Education Fund
Let's Educate Together
The main objective of the Kettle Moraine Geological Society (KMGS) is the
dissemination of knowledge of the earth sciences.  In keeping with this
objective, the KMGS will award three grants this year.  A maximum of $200
is available for each grant.  KMGS will award these funds to schools
(educators) in the Kettle Moraine area that best promote the study of earth
science.  At this time only elementary schools in the Kettle Moraine area
have been awarded this money.

We ask that the money be used solely for the enhancement of the geology
curriculum in each school reaching as many students as possible.
Educational materials, kits, books, models, projects, contests, etc. are all
possible ways to spend the money.

Also, we ask that the KMGS be informed as to how the money has been used
within the geology program.  We would appreciate being able to display a
letter from the school at our annual show in April for community awareness
and to gain support for our Education Fund.  If there are projects, pictures
etc. that resulted from these funds, we would welcome the opportunity to
display these items at our show.
